Generally, people only go to see doctor when they are sick. Some people even do not see doctor until they get very ill. Actually, you will not get too much sick if you know how to prevent illness from happening. It should be done in vaccines, healthy lifestyle, and keep mind and body healthy by optimizing them from time to time.

Firstly, vaccines are extremely important. Babies should have vaccines done according to health guidance. Teenagers and adults also need to get some important vaccines done such as HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines and so on. 

Second is keeping healthy lifestyle. Basically lots of diseases are coming from lifestyle including overweight, T2DM, heart disease, some types of cancers and so forth. 

What's healthy lifestyle you may ask?

It is necessary to watch out your food and drink, exercises, sleep and some habits.

If any of them is not healthy, you may get sick one day.

Most importantly, it is a good idea to remove negativities from mind to keep your mind healthy. Mind health is everything in our life. It not just can prevent mental illness from happening, but also it can help you to be success in all aspects of life. 

Of course, it is significant to optimize your physical body as well. This can be done by regular health checks for whole body to find out health issues early than later. Also, it is essential to take some supplements based on your blood tests results.

Why do we need to optimize our general  health on a daily basis?

Working as a health professional for almost three decades, I have seen too many people come to hospitals when they get extremely sick. Some too sick ones even lose their lives on the way to hospitals. Actually, the majority of diseases can be prevented from happening such as T2DM, heart disease, some types of cancers and mental illness. Some conditions can de easily treated at early stage if we are aware of our body changes.  

Simply speaking, our body like a car which needs regular services to prevent big damage from happening. For example, If people keep drinking alcohol, which might damage their brain, abdomen, liver and mental status. If they quit it, their health will be improved. The same as smoking, which can cause 20 types of cancers. 

Plus, if people go to do cancer screen regularly, it will prevent them to suffer from cancers even death. According to studies, 90% cancers can be cured if diagnosed at very early stage. 

Of course, some mental illness can be prevented or improved by optimizing people's mental status. This is related to mind health which is another area we need to focus on in the future.
